Sights, Local Events

Watch this page for announcements of any special sightseeing, tours, or local events that may be arranged for, or of interest to, LMCC attendees.

For example, in 2018, the local arrangements team and our association management partners, Amigos Library Services, secured an opportunity for special local tours of the famous Arch! Attendees had their own personal tour guide, Tom Nagel, Communications Manager of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation.

Attendees may also want to visit the beautifully restored and renovated main branch of the St. Louis Public library.

Dine-Arounds, Networking, Social Events

The LMCC local arrangements teams help each year to secure fun dining options for dinner on night most attendees arrive, and the first night of the conference. LMCC 2019 will again see social events and dinners at the many local restaurants within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency at the Arch.

Individuals or groups will be able to sign-up for a variety of local restaurants who are expecting us. Our on-site arrangements team will  make reservations at a variety of local places convenient to our hotels. You choose from local options, use the online sign up (SignUp Genius app), meet up, and enjoy a night out with new friends! Each attendee asks for their own check, and pays for their own dinner separately. Conference attendees participating in dine-arounds will meet up in the lobby to depart together to their choice of restaurant. Feel free to also organize your own group if another option doesn't suit!

Swag Swap

Swag Swap will open on Wednesday, November 13th at 12:15 PM and run until the end of the conference.
